These are great and very handy. They are small and have no flex. It took me a couple of practice rounds to adjust my pressure and touch to get to know them. I recommend letting a slab get leather hard (or whatever consistency you like to carve at) and mess around before using on a piece you really like. It is fairly easy to go too deep if you don’t practice! Even though these are small they can take a good amount of clay out. I’ve used these to make stamps, clean up feet, sgraffito, and to carve. Great for detail. Same hand feel as using an exacto knife. Good addition to my tools, I’ve used every day since they arrived.
